Welcome to the National Museum of the Philippines!
As we welcome our visitors to halls and galleries of the National Museum, in three buildings in Manila, and 19 branches and sites all over the country from north to south, we welcome you to this address, that we might share our museological experience in the cross-disciplinary concerns that the National Museum is tasked to tend to, and to present to the public.
Technological advancements have made this access possible, an access which functions at least in two ways: one, as an introduction so that a visit, in person, to the National Museum, is prepared for an utmost and maximal learning, and a delightful encounter; and the other, as a virtual platform for those unable to come to the National Museum in its central precincts and branch and site museums, to participate and partake of museological engagements.
We would like to assure you that this site will be responsive to comments, relevant to your concerns, and that the National Museum shall endeavor to remain committed to its mandates, and share the pleasures and achievements of this Museum responsibly through this medium.
