Registration of Art Pieces and of Private and Licensed Dealers

Art pieces and properties that are of cultural and historical significance owned by private individuals and collectors can be registered at the Cultural Properties Division to establish ownership of objects and at the same time safeguard our national cultural properties. Owners of antique shops and dealers also register at the National Museum to prove to their clients the authenticity of their products and legality of their establishments.

Visit this page for guidelines for registration of art pieces/cultural properties, licensing, process, fees, permit to export cultural properties, etc.

For inquiries about the registration and licensing processes and fees, please get in touch with Mr. Oscar G. Desembrana, Museum Researcher II, Cultural Properties Division (CPD) at telephone number 527-1216, or via email at culturalprop@nationalmuseum.gov.ph.
